Extension Line number select which DID number the Extension will use as Caller ID when making an Outgoing Call.

This can be set by the admin using the panel. First login to the admin account then navigate to the "Edit" option.

From the popup panel, Scroll to the "Settings" section and click the dropdown section of "Extn. Line Number". There will be two available options,  Line 1 and Line 2.

When selecting the options:

  • Line 1- Will use the Business Telephone Number (BTN) as Outgoing Caller ID.
  • Line 2- Will use the particular DID number that has been set for the Extension as Outgoing Caller ID

In order to dial manually from Line 1 or Line 2, press particular the BLF Key of the desired number (BTN or DID) and then dial the destination number to make the call. The receiver’s end will see that particular Caller ID.

Note: If Extn. Out Caller ID is set, that one would be used as Outgoing caller ID instead of either of line 1 or line 2 settings.
